Powertrain Component
Inertia

Description:

The angular inertia component calculates the angular speed of an inertia based on the torques input on either end of the inertia component.

Acceleration = (Torque1+Torque3)/Inertia

The velocity is the integral of the acceleration of the inertia. This is output on Vel1 and Vel3.

Inputs: SimRealVar Torque1 - Torque (Nm)
SimRealVar Torque3 - Torque (Nm)
SimRealVar Inertia - Moment of Inertia (kg-m-m)

Outputs: SimRealVar Vel1 - Angular Velocity (rad/s)
SimRealVar Vel3 - Angular Velocity (rad/s)

States: Vel - Velocity (rad/s)

Dimensions: None
