Symptom: There is no video displayed on the SimObserver Preview Pane. Normally, there is at least a vertical and horizontal line seperating the 4 camera views, but even these don't show up. When you press the menu buttons nothing shows up.

Solutions: Check all cables are correctly connected between the multiplexer and the SimObserver computer. There is an S-Video cable that connects from the "Monitor 1" output on the multiplexer to the "S-Video input" on the video encoder card in the back of the SimObserver Box.

Check the SimObserver preferences that you are using "S-Video" input and *not* "Composite".

Make sure the multiplexer is turned on. When you press the "Menu" button, the red LEDS should change their configuration and the menu screens should show up in the SimObserver preview window.
