TO RESET-RESTORE BIOS SETTINGS

1. To enter the BIOS set up screen, press Delete as the shuttle computer is turning on.

2. If you have no display, reset to default settings from the mainboard jumper as described below. Otherwise, selecting Load Optimized Defaults will allow you to restore all settings to factory defaults.

3. From default BIOS settings, the SimObserver shuttle requires the following adjustments.

Enable SATA HardDrive

Under Integrated Peripherals and then under OnChip IDE Device

With On-Chip Serial ATA, enable SATA HardDrive by selecting AUTO.

Disable Floppy Drive

From the main menu, go to Standard CMOS Features. Set Drive A to NONE.

4. Save changes and exit setup.

Windows XP will start normally after a warning about the hard disk configuration change.
